Xitee? What are we doing? Who are we?

Our customers are primarily from three main sectors.

At Finance&Energy, we are active in development for the leading European financial exchanges. The finance sector is an area we started in and have been in for over 15 years, so we have rich experience and can afford to go into bigger and more complex projects. For example, we are currently developing a brand new greenfield trading system that has an advanced technology architecture and processes tens of thousands of events per second.

In Health, we are working with leading German health insurance companies. We are currently developing a system for managing the insured's account in a microservice architecture for one of the leading German health insurance companies. For example, we are also developing a system for the organization of assistance services for handicapped insureds throughout Německo. Another hot trend in this area is digital aids paid for by health insurance, for example, the Apple watch app we are developing, based on the use of health data from the watch, which allows cardiologists to monitor the ECG of their patients.

The third sector is Digital Business. We are keeping up, and have opened up further opportunities in this growing area, in the development of cloud-based solutions. A current example is building a platform for financing development projects, running on Microsoft cloud services (Azure).

Job description

We seek an experienced Atlassian Expert to join our team and manage and optimise our Atlassian suite of products. As an Atlassian Expert, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, customisation, administration, and support for Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other related applications. Your role involves collaborating with various teams to understand their requirements, configuring and maintaining the Atlassian tools, and ensuring efficient utilisation across the organisation.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• You design the JIRA On-Premise operation's service and project management system and take over its further development
• You support the conception and recording of user requirements
• You design processes in IT and specialist departments and map them systemically
• You take on tasks in error analysis and troubleshooting as well as in testing software enhancements
• You organise data exchange with other IT systems
• Management of the Atlassian Lifecycle Management: Planning and support of the periodical platform, system, and plugin updates
• You evaluate the adoption of new plugins according to the Business requirements
• Development of solutions with the help of plugins/scripting, which goes beyond the intended function reception of Atlassian
• Confluence: Creation of complete business projects (including screens and workflows)
• Jira: Creation of complete support projects ( workflows, masks, automation procedure, customer portal, authorisations)
• Development of solutions using plugins/scripting that goes beyond the out-of-the-box capabilities of Atlassian

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Fluency in English minimally on B2 level
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Proven experience working as an Atlassian Expert or similar role, with in-depth knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian applications
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and experience implementing them using Atlassian tools
• Proficiency in customising workflows, schemes, fields, and permissions within Jira and Confluence
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently

Valuable expertise:

• Fluency in German is a big plus
• Certifications such as Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator or Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator are highly desirable
• ITIL certification or knowledge of the ITIL framework is a plus
• Project management experience and skill set are a big plus
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
