We are looking for an experienced and communicative IT Support Specialist for our Kladno plant, who will be a key person in ensuring a stable IT environment on a daily basis both locally and also globally.

You will be at the forefront of solving issues and handling service requests by supporting IT users not only in Kladno but across other NKT sites around the world. As Support specialist you will provide day-to-day IT consultations, including how-to questions, troubleshooting, issue solving for hardware, software, network and related computer systems and devices, and participate in the maintenance and development of IT infrastructure and processes.

What you will do?

• Be the První point of contact for all IT queries, incidents, and service requests.
• Provide excellent customer support and technically accurate solutions.
• Take responsibility for assigned incidents and requests – from acceptance to resolution.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to effectively solve complex problems.
• Identify opportunities for different enhancements, including automation and participate in their implementation.
• Actively contribute to the stability and prevention of IT environment outages.
• Contribute to Knowledge articles/ documentation creation and updates.
• Proactively inform management team about incidents, threats and preventive actions to increase IT security.

What we expect from you?

• At least 2 years of experience in IT support (service desk, on-site support, or system administration).
• Independence, ability to take responsibility for incidents and service requests and see them through to completion.
• Technical knowledge – Windows OS, Office 365, basic HW, network orientation (IP), AD administration, knowledge of Cisco products, familiarity with application support.
• Problem-solving skills – analytical thinking, experience with issues troubleshooting.
• Experience with ITIL processes and working with ITSM tools (ServiceDesk+ is an advantage).
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in Czech and English, with the ability to communicate professionally with users.
• Adherence to established practices and procedures, proven work ethic and discipline.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well with others, strong team player.
• Previous experience in global environment (is an advantage).
